Formed by John Mahon for a performance at the 2003 Festival of World Cultures, the sextet was initially a quartet consisting of John Mahon on sequencer, mixing & trumpet, Ciaran Murphy on tabla and kim, John McCullagh on 12-string guitar and Alan Maguire on 6-string guitar.

For the festival's Wood & Wire night, this initial quartet was expanded to a quintet on stage, with Leni on vocals, and Mick Donoghue (aka T-Woc) providing live visuals.

Vibrolounge hopes to feature more of the sextet's music in the near future, including some live recordings from the festival.
